Once again, we will take to the streets with an innovative traveling sukkah in order to enable you to celebrate the holiday right at your doorstep.
The sukkah, a temporary structure covered with vegetation or bamboo, commemorates the time the Jews wandered in the desert wilderness on their way to the Promised Land and the miraculous clouds that surrounded them. The Sukkah On Wheels will visit homes, schools, prisons, military bases and tribal reservations across the state for those who may not have access to a sukkah booth. A Lulav & Etrog “Four Species” will also be on hand in the traveling sukkah. We are currently scheduling stops in Winner, Mitchell, Milbank, Brookings, Aberdeen, Watertown, Chamberlain, Rapid City, Hill City, Spearfish and Deadwood. If you would like a visit, please fill out the form in the link below and we will try our best to accommodate and schedule a time. |
